We tentatively define the notion of a manifold of closed subspaces of a Hilbert space, and examine some motivating examples arising from the work of Katavolos and Power. Along the way, we discuss some "strange limits" of projections onto subspaces in these manifolds. (This is ongoing work with Steve Power).
