The structural testing is primarily carried out in the Heavy Structures and Light Structures Laboratories. However, occasionally the work is extended to on-site testing as well. CBER has the following facilities to carry out the structural testing:

• Strong floor.
• Computer controlled data acquisition equipment.
• Purpose built test rigs.
• Range of test equipment with static and dynamic load facility up to 600kN.
• Pressure, distance, angular, strain and load measuring equipment.
