Thesis Title: Teaching children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder: An investigation of teaching training, teaching methods and pupil learning outcomes.
Summary of Research: The aim of the research is to investigate differences and similarities of teacher training in the area of autism, the second aim is to investigate how this training is applied in practice, and the third aim is to see how this translates to pupil learning outcomes. The final aim is to provide recommendations based on these data to decision making authorities in India who are responsible for curriculum planning for special needs teacher training programs for teaching children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
