Welcome to the Centre for Infection & Immunity (CII) at Queen's University Belfast. This interdisciplinary research centre is committed to the highest quality of research excellence and has over 50 clinical and basic researchers. Our mission is to develop new avenues for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of important diseases to relieve human suffering. To achieve this we are developing the highest quality clinical and basic science research programmes. The hallmark of our research programme is a close, collaborative interaction between clinical and laboratory research experts that ultimately enhances the quality and scope of our integrated basic and clinical research programmes.
