Undergraduate Education
Staff from Cii deliver undergraduate education in a range of degree pathways including Medicine, Dentistry, Biomedical Sciences and Biological Sciences. Teaching formats include lectures, tutorials, problem-based learning, clinical and laboratory training.
Cii also hosts undergraduate students for ‘honours projects’ each year. In these projects, students undertake a novel piece of research under the supervision of a Principal Investigator and often with direct training from Postdoctoral fellows and PhD students. This is a great opportunity for students to learn first-hand, what an academic and clinical research environment is really like. As part of their projects, students also write a literature review on their topic of investigation, a thesis at the end of the project and present their work orally in the form of a short talk.
