Atmospheric Pressure Plasmas and Jets
The QUB programme seeks to identify the basic processes that initiate and sustain cold atmospheric pressure plasmas and investigate their interactions with soft materials such as polymers and bio-materials for plasma medicine.
Our research activities in this field include:
RF micro atmospheric pressure plasma jets
KHz atmospheric pressure plasma jets
Multiple atmospheric pressure plasma interactions
Microplasmas
Dielectric barrier discharges
