Postgraduate

CVVS offers a graduate training programme leading to a PhD, MD or MPhil degree.  Presently, there are a wide range of postgraduate students working on a variety of laboratory and clinical-based studies.

Postgraduate environment: CVVS research laboratories provide the essential expertise, equipment and academic environment for postgraduate students to train and obtain a comprehensive understanding of medical and biomedical research. Research students are actively encouraged to develop independent scientific thought and are expected to generate scientific abstract and journal publications.  All students have regular formal meeting with their supervisors to review progress.  Students also have informal daily contact, and small student lead focus groups are encouraged.
