Research within the Centre for Vision and Vascular Science is funded from a wide range of research councils and charities, as well as partnerships with industry and the EU FP7.  In 2015, a new building housing CVVS will be opened on the Belfast City Hospital site of Queen’s University - this building has been supported by a Welcome-Wolfson Capital award and more recently funds from the UK Research Partnership Infrastructure Fund.
