Funding
Research within the Centre for Vision and Vascular Science is funded from a wide range of research councils and charities, as well as partnerships with industry and the EU FP7. In 2015, a new building housing the Centre for Experimental Medicine (aka CVVS) will be opened on the Health Sciences campus of Queen's University. This state-of-the-art research facility has been funded by the Wellcome-Wolfson Capital award (£4.2M) and a £32M awad from HEFCE's Queen’s secures £32 million to help find cures for eye disease and diabetes.
