Borders and Boundaries Workshop

On 14th of June, the Interdisciplinary Research Group Social Justice and the Divided City hosted a full day workshop in the Clifton House titled 'Borders and Boundaries Workshop: The Construction and Transformation of Urban Space'.

A range of speakers from diverse academic disciplines adressed the audience during three sessions:

Architectures of Conflict and De/segregation;

Governing and Negotiating Shared Spaces; and

Culture and Diversity in Spaces of Conflict.

The day was concluded with a round table discussion involving practitioners from Skegoneil Glandore Common Purpose and the East Belfast Partnership discussing their experiences with developing shared spaces in Belfast.
