Biography

 

Dr Robert J. Best is a Lecturer in the Energy, Power and Intelligent Control research cluster. He received the MEng and PhD degrees from Queen’s University Belfast in 2004 and 2008 respectively. He was previously a research fellow with the SFI Charles Parsons Energy Research Awards (2011 – 2012) and for EPSRC SuperGen AMPerES (2008 – 2010). Robert has authored more than 20 academic publications in the areas of smart grid, phasor measurements, distributed generation and electric machinery.
