Biography
Dr Robert J. Best is a Lecturer in the Energy, Power and Intelligent Control research cluster. He received the MEng and PhD degrees from Queen’s University Belfast in 2004 and 2008 respectively. He is currently funded by the SFI Charles Parsons Energy Research Awards and was previously a research fellow in EPSRC SuperGen AMPerES. Robert has authored 20 academic publications in the areas of smart grid, phasor measurements, distributed generation and electric machinery.
