Energy, Power and Intelligent Control

Ziqi Yang (Wallace) comes from Liaoning province of China. He got his Bachelor’s  degree in Automation from Northeastern University in 2009, and Master’s degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Northeastern University in 2011. Here he received awards as an Outstanding Graduate. During his master’s studies, he researched fuzzy robust control of singular systems with time-delay, and published a paper in the 29th Chinese Control Conference 2010. His master’s thesis was entitled “Robust Control Research on Fuzzy Singular Systems with Time-Delay Based on LMI”.

Wallace joined the Energy, Power and Intelligent Control cluster at Queen’s University Belfast in September 2011. His PhD studies are supported by the Chinese Scholarship Council and by the award of a UK-China Science Bridge bursary from QUB.
