Aims of the Program

To strengthen the existing AML/MDS networks by allowing scientists to visit an institution or laboratory in another COST country to foster collaboration, to learn a new technique or to make measurements using instruments and/or methods not available in their own institution/laboratory. 

Basic Requirements

Early Stage Researchers (within 10 years of completion of Ph.D)

Duration: 1 week - 3 months

The Applicant: COST Member State

Home/Host Institution: COST Member State

Overall Budget: 20,000 Euro per annum

Maximum Award: 2,500 Euro

STSM may not necessarily cover all costs in each case.

Review turn around time <1 month
Score by a minimum of 4 committee members: 1 (low) -5 (high priority)
Scores >3 considered fundable range

A final report must be provided no later than 3 months following visit
