Project Research Groups
The Institute hosts a number of project research groups on an annual basis allowing colleagues from different disciplines and at different stages of career to work together on a specific set of inter-disciplinary questions through seminars, conferences and grant-writing activities. The Institute supports a number of such groups in any given year, with funding allocated on the basis of an annual competition.
The successful delivery of an annual programme of activities by the Project Research Groups enables the Institute to be at the centre of a dynamic project-focused Humanities research environment. Their work assists the Institute to engage with and to attract leading researchers from other institutions and to develop successful and sustainable collaborative partnerships of all kinds that will further our understanding of human culture and creativity and demonstrate the social, political and economic relevance of the Humanities at Queen’s.
