Undergraduate degrees are specifically designed to focus on areas of particular relevance to the future the global food supply chain. The ultimate intention is to give graduates the competitive edge to meet the challenges posed by European enlargement and an increasingly global marketplace. The undergraduate degrees offered by IGFS focus on contemporary food, animal and human health issues pertaining to agriculture and food industries.
There is considerable interdisciplinary interaction within the Institute, both in teaching and research as well as collaboration with other Schools and Faculties in the University.
