Biography
I received my PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Ulster in 2009, and have worked in various research areas since then.
I joined QUB in March 2011, and moved to the ICCR in March 2012. For the past year, I have been working on the Mind Your Health study, which is looking at the physical and mental health of children and young people who are looked after in Northern Ireland. This study aims to examine service provision for this vulnerable group as well as examining their points of view in relation to their health care needs. This study is expected to be completed by August 2014.
Research interests
My research interests are in the health of children in Northern Ireland, particularly those in the care system or those who have been adopted.
