Researchers from the Centre for Effective Education (Ms Seaneen Sloan) and the Institute

Of Child Care Research (Dr Aisling McLaughlin) have been awarded funding to co-host a 2

day course on SEM and Latent Growth Curve Modelling using Mplus on 21st-22nd November

2013. The course, facilitated by Dr Chris Stride (University of Sheffield) will cover the

following topics: introduction to path analysis, structural equation modelling and latent growth

curve modelling using longitudinal datasets. Participants should have a basic knowledge of

exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. Contact Seaneen Sloan
