Along with Professor Malachy McEldowney, we were awarded a BT Business Education Award for our Student Project in Athlone which developed an Integrated Area Plan which proposed urban renewal schemes for areas of the town, justified by comprehensive physical and socio-economic analyses and promoted by consultation with local commercial, voluntary and community interests.
