THE WORLD SUSTAINABLE BUILDING CONFERENCE 2008
Dr Carolyn Hayles will be presenting her research at the World Sustainable Builiding Conference 2008, which will take place on 21st - 25th September 2008 at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

CIVILS 2008
will take place from the 18 to 20 November 2008, at Earls Court, London. CEEQUAL and Crane Environmental, for which Professor Roger Venables is Chief Executive, will be exhibiting.

The authors of the award-wining paper 'Widening engineering horizons: Addressing the complexity of sustainable development' will review their original document in order to provide a reflection on how the paper has been updated since its publication in December 2006. After being published in December 2006, the paper was awarded The George Stephenson Medal by the Institution of Civil Engineering as the second best paper overall published in Engineering Sustainability in 2006.
