New Job Opportunities within the Centre - Apply Now!

There are currently four new posts being advertised within the Centre for Evidence and Social Innovation (CESI), providing outstanding opportunities for those wishing to work within a large and vibrant inter-disciplinary centre.

Details of the four posts are provided below. They are associated with two major programmes of work, both hosted within CESI: Campbell UK and Ireland and the NIHR Global Health Research Group on Early Childhood Development for Peacebuilding, Queen’s University Belfast. NIHR GLOBAL HEALTH RESEARCH GROUP ON EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT FOR PEACEBUILDING, QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY BELFAST

Research Fellows (2 posts)

These two posts (Research Fellow, Ac2, Ref: 17/105716), available for 2.5 years each in the first instance, will be integral team members and support the work of the NIHR Global Health Research Group. Working in strategic partnership with UNICEF, the Group is supporting the development and evaluation of early childhood development (ECD) services in six low and middle income countries that have been affected by ethnic divisions and political violence. The ECD services all seek to promote sustainable development and contribute to social cohesion and peacebuilding in those countries. Both these posts provide excellent opportunities to travel and undertake ECD research in a range of countries.

CAMPBELL UK & IRELAND

Business Development Coordinator (Applications Closed)

This post (Academic-Related, Grade 7, Ref: 17/105693), available for five years in the first instance, will play a key role in establishing and developing strategic relationships and partnerships between the national centre and potential funders and key stakeholders across the UK and Ireland. The role will actively seek to promote the profile of Campbell UK & Ireland nationally and internationally and to attract external funding for the work of the Centre to help achieve the better use of systematic reviews by governments, policy-makers and practitioners in education, social welfare, crime and justice and international development.

Information Retrieval Specialist (Applications Closed)

This post (Research Fellow, Ac2, Ref: 17/105692), available for three years in the first instance, will play a key role in assisting in the planning and delivery of literature searching and information retrieval to support the production of high quality Campbell Systematic Reviews. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to and lead systematic reviews in their own areas of expertise and will have opportunities to contribute to other projects within the Centre for Evidence and Social Innovation.
