Staff Training and Development Unit supporting Contract Research Staff development
Enhancing Research Practice Programme 2013-14
(ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management)
Undertaking research is one of the key functions of Queen's and having skilled and effective researchers to complete this research is important to the University. Consequently, the University provides a range of support and resources to ensure researchers have access to a range of training and development activities.
As a Queen's researcher you have access to people and resources to assist with your research. You also have access to resources and events to support your professional and career development. This site introduces some of these people and resources.
We hope you find the information beneficial and would encourage you to look at some of the other information and support available beyond this site.
Providing researcher development opportunities is a national issue. This is seen in the publication of the The Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers (2008), further information is available here. The Queen’s Researcher Career Development Booklet is one of the University’s responses to the Concordat.
