Bio:

Graduated from TU Hamburg-Harburg with a Diploma in Marine Engineering.

Research Statement:

My PhD focuses on the numerical simulation of the hydrodynamics of flap type wave energy converters. The main research technique used is  the application of RANS CFD methods and the implementation of a numerical wave tank in OpenFOAM.

Experimental work is mainly based on particle tracking methods.
