3rd June 2013: Michael Ignatieff Lecture
As part of the Institute programme of launch events, on Monday 3rd June, Professor Michael Ignatieff gave a lecture on 'Politics as a vocation: Re-imaging the calling of politics in 21st century'. This was followed by a question and answer session.
Drawing on his own experiences of political life, and reflecting on political responsibility in divided societies, Michael Ignatieff argued that democratic politics is now in need of re-invention.
We would like to thank the School of Politics, International Studies and Philosophy for co-hosting this event.
