Other places to look for funding Contact Points The Admissions Office

Unless you are able to finance yourself, coming to Queen's to undertake postgraduate study will involve two separate application procedures.

First of all, you will need to apply for admission to the University and the taught course or research programme in question.

Secondly, you will want to apply for a funding award that will cover your tuition fees and make a contribution towards your maintenance.

The Admissions Office looks after the first step, applying to the University.

Postgraduate Awards Office in Research & Regional Services look after the second step - advising you on applying for funding awards.

We administer the major sources of postgraduate funding available to the postgraduate students, for example, from the Department of Employment and Learning (DEL) and the European Social Fund.

Warning:The information contained in these pages applies only to students who intend coming to Queen's. The procedures for administering postgraduate funding, including deadlines for applying, vary from institution to institution, and students who intend undertaking postgraduate study at other institutions should contact them directly.
