| The C concert flute makes up the largest section in a flute band. Many young players begin playing the concert flute when they first join the band and learn how to play in the band in this section before moving on to other flutes. Like the treble section, there are usually three individual parts in the C concert flute section: solo, 1st and 2nd. The 1st and 2nd parts tend to colour the other treble parts while at the same time providing the movement and rhythmic elements to many arrangements. | |
