Sapphire graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a BSc (Hons) in Archaeology-Palaeoecology in June 2007. She has been a fieldworker with the Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork between August 2007 and July 2009 and again from January 2011 to present. During a six month contract at Newry and Mourne Museum from 2009 to 2010 Sapphire gained much experience in many aspects of working in a museum.
Sapphire’s main areas of interest in archaeology include artefact conservation, surveying and illustration. Since 2007 she has assisted in field surveys with the Ulster Archaeological Society's Field Survey Group.
