Profile
On completion of her undergraduate degree, Sarah was employed within the School of Archaeology and Palaeoecology as a researcher and undertook a number of post-excavation and research projects. In 2004 Sarah completed an MPhil degree, with a dissertation on The Phasing and Dating of the Timber Circle Complex, Ballynahatty, Co. Down. Sarah has subsequently undertaken Phase 2 of the Condition and Management Survey of the Archaeological Resource for Northern Ireland, a project which assessed the survival and condition of 1500 sites and monuments. She has directed excavations at St Thomas’ Church, Rathlin Island and St Elizabeth’s Church, Dundonald, Co. Down and is presently carrying out a heritage survey for the Belfast Hills Partnership.
