Food Quality, Safety & Nutrition (with Professional Studies)
The teaching programmes have been developed in consultation with employers, industry, and subject benchmarks, to offer students a curriculum designed to enhance employability and graduate skills, through subject knowledge and understanding combined with entrepreneurial and management skills. Core modules are supplemented with a wide range of optional modules, enabling an in-depth study of subject threads, such as environmental planning, geography, economics and sociology, throughout the programmes, whilst still achieving the programme learning outcomes. This pathway is offered as both a 3 year and a 4 year programme. The 4 year programme includes a 46 week period of work placement during which students also carry out a project. The 3 year programme has a 16 week work placement.
