Q:  Is there much chemistry in the course?

Ans:   The level of chemistry in the course is that which is required for you to understand the necessary basic chemical reactions associated with food production and consumption.  The programme is designed for students who do not have A’level chemistry and the vast majority of students entering the course are in this position.  To date students have coped well with the chemistry and no students have withdrawn from the course because of difficulties with the chemistry.
