Course Aims
On completion of the programme the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the physical, social, economic and cultural aspects of land use.
- Demonstrate a familiarity with the issues of sustainable development, conservation and environmental protection and management.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the integrated and holistic nature of land use and environmental management.
- Devise, manage and critically evaluate project work.
- Demonstrate competence in subject specific and key skills, problem solving and a professional approach to work, study and life-long learning.
