Training Contract

McKinty & Wright Solicitors are offering a Training Placement in September 2013.  The vacany will open on 1st July 2013 and close on 20th July 2013.  Applications received before that date will not be considered.  Students must have an offer from the Institute and have their final examination results.

Update for those intending to qualify as barristers

Page 6 of the Information Booklet for Applications for commencement in September 2011” states:

“The Council of Legal Education set up a pilot scheme whereby six Bar trainees may be offered the possibility each year for the two years (2007-08 and 2008-09) to take the course over a two-year period. 

The Council of Legal Education has now agreed that the pilot scheme will operate for a further two years.  To give applicants an idea of how the scheme will operate the current regulations for this scheme are given here. Trainees will be subject to whatever regulations are in force at the time of their enrolment.
