Applications to Begin the Course/Apprenticeship in the Academic Year 2014/15

Applications are available via www.gsple.ulster.ac.uk.   Please submit your application on-line. 

The closing date for applications is 15 November 2013.  There will be a reduced application fee of £200 for early application by 30 September 2013 and a full fee of £260 by 15 November 2013.

Update for those intending to qualify as barristers

Page 6 of the Information Booklet for Applications for commencement in September 2011” states:

“The Council of Legal Education set up a pilot scheme whereby six Bar trainees may be offered the possibility each year for the two years (2007-08 and 2008-09) to take the course over a two-year period. 

The Council of Legal Education has now agreed that the pilot scheme will operate for a further two years.  To give applicants an idea of how the scheme will operate the current regulations for this scheme are given here. Trainees will be subject to whatever regulations are in force at the time of their enrolment.
