Institute of Professional Legal Studies

The Benchers' Advocacy Prize is a new competition established in 2009 by the Benchers to promote core advocacy skills.  This competition is the foremost extra circular opportunity for Bar trainees at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies to win financial awards for excellence in advocacy.  The awards will be distributed among the four finalists at an annual mock trial.  The winning advocate will receive £1,000.00 with second place attracting £750.00 and the two runners up £500.00 apiece.

The four finalists are Michael Kinkead, Orla Killen, Chris Ringland and Sean Mullan.
