Seminars will normally be held on a Monday, 1.00pm - 2.00pm, in the Seminar Room (First Floor) of the Institute of Irish Studies, 8 Fitzwilliam Street but please check website for any changes to the programme. Please note that the Seminar Room is not wheelchair accessible due to its location on the first floor.
Annual Irish Studies Lecture: As part of the Seminar Series, the annual Irish Studies lecture was held on Thursday 10 October 2013 and was given by Professor Marianne Elliott, Director of the Institute of Irish Studies, University of Liverpool. Professor Elliott was born in Belfast, is internationally recognised as one of Ireland's leading historians and is best known for her acclaimed biography 'Wolf Tone: Prophet of Irish Independence', which won numerous awards.
