Dearbhla knew Business Management would open so many doors for her, the strong connections Queen’s Management School have developed with employers create valuable stepping stones for business management students to reach out and network with the wider business community, creating opportunities to bring the degree to life.

In her first year Dearbhla applied to the 'Flying Start' programme which is a partnership between PwC and Queen’s Management School offering students the chance to secure a summer internship, placement year and a graduate job on the basis of a 2:1 qualification. Her successful applicaiton secured a summer internship in London, and a graduate job offer in Technology Consultancy. The programme also linked her with a mentor from industry from first year which allowed her to devleop a strong relationship with PwC throughout her University experience.

Dearbhla commented:

"The support from Queen's Management School has been fantastic , especially in final year when stress levels are heightened. The support and guidance we received from our lecturers during various group and individual projects was second to none. Additionally the Queen’s management school are excellent at creating opportunities for students and encouraging students to seize these opportunities."
