"I graduated in 1966 from what was then the Economics Faculty.  I subsequently completed a PhD at Loughborough University.  I retired in 2008 - my last employer was the National Children's Bureau, based in London, where I was Director of Research for many years.

However in my last 3 years of employment I returned to NI to set up a NCB office in Belfast. In my capacity as Director NCB NI I worked closely with several colleagues from Queen’s University."
