The opportunities for Accounting graduates are wide, as a glance at the appointments pages of a paper such as the Financial Times will show. The Careers Seminar in the first semester may provide useful career choice guidance. In addition students are advised to make early contact with Queen's Career Service at the Student Guidence Centre. The Accounting Unit will also, from time to time, invite speakers from the profession and industry, through its links with an Employers' Liaison Group, to give talks to students. Students are advised to attend these seminars or presentations and will be notified in advance.
The Guide for New Students provides further information on Queens Careers Service (QCS), work and study placements for undergraduates, vacation opportunities, in-semester activities including new knowledge, skills training and insights into work.
