Winter Graduation: First Students Graduate from MSc Management Programme
The first cohort of students has graduated from the MSc Management programme at
Queen’s University Management School. The MSc Management, launched in September 2006,
is one of a suite of new taught Master’s degrees being introduced by the School.
The graduates entered the programme with a wide range of first degrees, including computer
science, engineering, geography, sports science and law. Many of them have now
secured quality jobs with private and public sector employers, including Bombardier Aerospace,
Rolls-Royce plc, Randox Laboratories and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
The MSc Management provides students with a detailed understanding of the workings of
business organisations and an awareness of the major challenges facing contemporary
business. The taught modules deal with operations management, marketing, people
management, accounting and finance and business strategy. The second cohort of students
is now studying on the programme and applications are being considered for entry in
September 2008.
