Trading Club hosts Industry Professional Seminar Series

This semester will see the launch of a Trading Club at Queen’s University Management School, run in conjunction with the new First Derivatives Trading Room. Students will gain an invaluable glimpse into the real world of the capital markets. The club will provide a new learning environment and give students a head start in the graduate job market.

Activities include an industry professional seminar series, which will be open to all. The first of the seminars is on 8 February, 2.00 -3.00 pm in the lecture theatre in the teaching and conferencing block in Riddel Hall, where Mr Jamie Leonards will present.

Jamie is a trader in European Oleo Chemicals for Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).  Previous to this, Jamie worked on the UK and Ireland high net worth desk with Lloyd’s private bank.  Now based in Geneva, Jamie has a proven track record and experience in trading FX, stocks, bonds, funds, options, futures, OTC’s and physical commodities namely biodiesel.
