Research Title and a short description of project:

The working title for her PhD research is: Poverty alleviation: the development and application of social performance indicators in international corporate social responsibility. The research involves the development of social performance indicators which juxtapose the conflicting and competing economic, political, social, and ethical issues which arise when multinational corporations engage in poverty alleviation.  The indicators are being developed in the context of multinationals operating in Sub-Saharan Africa.
