DEL PhD Studentship


Queen's University Management School has regular studentships funded by the Department of Employment and Learning (DEL) in Northern Ireland. DEL Studentships provide fees and a maintenance grant of £13,590 (yearly rate for 2012/13, 2013/14 allowance to be confirmed by DEL).

DEL Studentships are available to UK nationals or EU nationals who have lived in the UK for over 3 years. Specific eligibility criteria apply.

Allocation of DEL Awards

The DEL core awards will be made in any area of research where the School has distinctive research strengths.

Applicants wishing to be considered for a studentship must have submitted a complete application via the University's online portal, including all relevant transcripts and references, before 11 February 2013. Please note there is no separate application form for these competitions. All eligible students with a complete application submitted by the closing date will be considered - applications received after this date will not be considered in the funding competitions.
