The placement year gives students excellent experience which should make it much easier for them find a graduate position. By demonstrating an ability to perform well in full-time employment, the placement can be an invaluable addition to a student’s CV. It is also often a direct stepping-stone to permanent employment as many students are invited back to work for the company where they completed their placement.
