This programme will include a series of dedicated workshops to provide students with the practical skills in key areas of people management. The workshops will be delivered by experienced HR practitioners. The programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). On completion, students will gain the underpinning knowledge required to apply for professional membership of CIPD.

The MSc Human Resource Management programme will provide students with the following benefits:

Students will gain an in-depth learning of key aspects of HRM, for example design and implementation of award strategies; design of successful employment involvement schemes, to include types of participation, and communications strategies.
The programme will have a detailed examination of key elements of strategic HRM, for example how to complete a HR score card for the organisation.
