The MSc Management is a general management programme, designed to equip students, who have not prior experience of business education, with important skills and knowledge to enhance the utility of their first degree and enter a career related to management.
The MSc Management is a full-time programme lasting twelve months and starting each September. Students who successfully complete the degree graduate in December of the following year. The programme consists of two semesters and the dissertation period.
All students study eight compulsory courses, four in each semester. Assessment is by a variety of methods and can include individual coursework, group work, oral presentations, poster presentations, simulations, case studies, class tests and examinations. Students will then complete a dissertation of 14,000 - 17,000 words.
Students on the programme are enrolled as student members of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and upon graduation will be eligible for Associate Member status with the CMI.
