Industry Professionals Seminar Series

The Trading Club has taken the oppurtunity to reach out to the finance industry and invited a number of well-heeling capital markets professionals to share their insights with the students.  In this activity we hope to provide trading club members with key insights into life in today's capital markets and allow them to gain valuable connections which will help in the fiercely competitive graduate market. If you are interested in being a speaker at this event please contact Dr Barry Quinn.

To date we have enjoyed the presentations of three finance industry professionals, each with a distinct story to tell of their experiences.

Jamie Leonard, a biodeisel trader based in Geneva, talked about the intense world of commodities trading and how risk management and relationship building is key in the commodities markets.  Click here for a copy of Jamie's slides.
