Queen's University Management School is one of only a few universities in the UK to offer direct use of Bloomberg data, information and analytics through a suite of Bloomberg terminals in a dedicated simulated trading room located at Queen's University Management School. Bloomberg is the financial services leading provider of market data, news and analytical functions used globally in financial dealing rooms and investment houses and the trading room enables participants to share similar experiences to those operating in financial organisations in researching, analysing, modelling and decision-making.
Click here for details of a suite of non-specialist workshops being run in the trading room.
The opportunity is also available to organisations to participate in trading simulations. Using bespoke software, market scenarios are created within the trading room that allow participants to trade against each other or against an automated system. These scenarios require participants to make pricing and trading decisions based on their analysis of data provided in specific market environments. The cases can be tailored to teach specific concepts, valuation models, or strategies or simply to help foster team building. If your business is interested in exploring opportunities to use the trading room please contact:
