I spend about a quarter of my time doing things to help the broader scientific community in the UK.  The bulk of this work involves grant and manuscript peer review, but I also have a long-standing interest in the career development of early career researchers.

Co-author of the RCUK Concordat to support the career development of researchers.

Member of the NERC Review College.
