Research Interests

My research is focused on the effect of multiple anthropogenic stressors on coastal systems.  I am especially interested in how marine invasive species interact with other anthropogenic stressors and their combined impacts on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. This includes studying the relative importance of abiotic and biotic effects of invasive species on ecosystems, and their influence on the community response to other anthropogenic stressors. My study systems are intertidal shores and I work with invasive algae and invertebrates.
