The School of Creative Arts at Queen's University Belfast brings together well established research communities in Music, Film, Sonic Arts and Arts Management and Cultural Policy and creates exciting opportunities for interdisciplinary teaching and research.

World-leading specialists in fields as diverse as performance, composition, musicology, sound design, spatial audio and film theory and history, cinematography and screenwriting deliver unique postgraduate programmes supported by excellent facilities.
There are specialist Masters in all subjects and new courses in Arts Management and Film-making in the Irish language. All Masters programmes are offered on both a full-time and part-time basis. There is also a vibrant postgraduate research community and staff provide expert supervision for approximately one hundred students from across the world.
The School offers state-of-the-art facilities including the Sonic Arts Research Centre, a fully-accredited Apple Training Centre for Film, the Brian Friel Theatre and the Queen’s Film Theatre, while Music is based in one of the University’s most historic buildings, which incorporates the distinctive McMordie Hall and Harty Room. There are a number of bursaries available for MA study each year.
