The School of Education, a key education leader in the UK and Ireland, offers an exciting and diverse range of courses, from initial teacher education (PGCE) to adult education; Undergraduate, Masters and PhD programmes; the most successful taught Doctorate in Education in Ireland; specialist programmes in work-based learning, counselling, management, lifelong learning and community studies; the extensive Open Learning short course programme and much more.

The School is a leading research centre, with an extensive range of national and international partnerships. While we play a key role in debates on education policy and practice in Northern Ireland, many staff in the School work in international settings and we have a vibrant community of international postgraduate students.
