Postgraduate Research

With over 120 students currently studying for higher degrees, the School provides a rich and vibrant atmosphere for those wishing to undertake research degrees.
The research student body is very active and now organises its own regular postgraduate conferences at the School. In addition, research students are encouraged to play a full and active role in relation to the wide range of research activities undertaken within the School.
There are a wide range of resources available to research students within the School including:
- a dedicated specialist library within the School that currently holds books and education periodicals
- a wide range of specialist research methods modules
- office accommodation and support to attend conferences for full-time PhD students.

Research Studentship
Research studentships available for both European and International students in the following areas:
- Education in Divided Societies
- Contexts of Teaching, Learning and Assessment
- Children's Rights and Participation in Education
The closing date is 14 February 2008. Application should be made on the standard University form.
