Student Resources Centre
The School has a Student Resource Centre which is available to all students for general study or to access reference books. The Centre has Wi Fi access.
Dissertations
A series of Masters Level dissertations, EdD, MSc, MSSc. and PhD Theses are held for reference only.
Journals
The Resources Centre subscribes to several journals in the education field and there are over 500 full text online subscriptions accessible from any computer at home or on campus.
Inter-Library Loans
If you require a particular book or journal article that is not available from our own resources, you can fill in an Inter-Library Loan request form available at the McClay Library Issue Desk. The form must be signed by the School Manager, who will return it to the Education Librarian. A note will be sent to your home address when the item has arrived and can then be picked up from the Inter-Library Loan desk in the Main Library.
e-brary
The School of Education has over 500 texts available as e-books. These can be accessed by all students at all times of the day and night from any computer at home or on campus.
Photocopiers
There are photocopying facilities for student use. These are operated using your QUB Smartcard which you will need to credit before visiting the Srudent Resources Centre.
Coffee Facilities
Coffee, tea and snack-making facilities are available in the Student Coffee Room adjoining the Student Resources Centre.
